Un petit arbre. Il atteint une hauteur de 4 à 8 m. Le tronc mesure 20 à 40 cm de diamètre. Les branches zigzaguent. Les feuilles sont alternes. Ils sont entiers et oblongs. Ils mesurent 4 à 5 cm de long sur 2,5 à 3 cm de large. Il y a 3 veines parallèles allant de la base à la pointe. Les tiges des fruits sont velues et mesurent 3 à 4 mm de long.
